Hair Trend Goals 2023

So, you want to love your hair in 2023? Ask yourself what that means to you. What I mean is, what is YOUR ideal colour, cut, budget. What suits YOU best. Finding the answer to this question will be the start to your hair journey.

Maybe you’re just straight up lost, and have no idea where to begin. We’re going to try to help.

1.) Deciding what colour? Balayage, Teddy Bear Brown, Highlights, Hair painting, Sun kissed Copper. THE LIST GOES ON! Look at a photo of your hair when you were 5. You were probably pretty cute and your hair colour is often your most well suited colour! Allow this to be your starting point.

2.) What’s your budget and ideal frequency? Do you find joy out of getting your hair done often and can your budget support it? If so, treat yourself! If not, we have options to extend timing between appointments. Blended roots, grey blending, partial placement (blonde where it counts). We’re doing A LOT more blending in this new age hair world, and the results are usually flawless and don’t leave you with a harsh root.

3.) HAIR HEALTH! Ditch the excessive hot tool usage. Seriously, this is key. Those little fragile hairs around your hairline can’t handle 450 degree heat. Same with those lightened ends that desperately need a haircut. Melting your hair is a thing. Embrace your natural texture more, turn your hot tools DOWN, and find ways to get creative with styling so if you must have that perfectly straight hair, you only have to put your hair through that once a week.

4.) Use the proper product. This point should be at the top of the list. The amount of times we see clients use cheap hair product on their hair they just invested a pretty penny on is endless. Don’t get lost in the product aisle at shoppers; spend your valuable time elsewhere. If you’re budget conscious, ask us about our options. We have a variety of professional products to suit your needs, that wont break the bank. If you want to splurge on one, let it be K18. K18 is it. it replaces your conditioner, so you’re immediately saving there and it WILL actually heal your hair (sorry coconut oil from the pantry, you just wont cut it). I have used a lot of repair products over time and nothing has changed my hair like k18. My hair is lightened with bleach, I casually use hot tools on low heat, and it’s down to my waist and HEALTHY! Finally!
