How we achieve the best possible Blonde Hair

What was once a standard foil application with one, all over toner, is now much much more. Lets break it down in steps:

START

-prep hair: dampen with water then apply step one K18,

-teased highlights in strategic placement

-balayage ends

-incorporating depth where appropriate

-rinse in sections (to avoid over processing)

-1st shampoo with a clarifying option

-apply a porosity equalizer

-comb through all backcombing (ugh)

- apply the first toner, as a root melt

-apply the second toner all over

**but leave out the money piece**

-then hit that money piece for the last few minutes

-second shampoo to cleanse out the toner

-apply step 2 of K18 treatment

-let it sit undisturbed for at least 4 minutes

- option for a scalp massage

-proceed with blow dry and styling

We’re impressed if you got through that list and made it to this slide. Here’s the thing, what once took only a few steps, that required you to come back way more often, with more damage, and grew out way less seamless, is now a 15+ step, delicate process.

The cost of hair has increased because the time we put in to achieve these results are incomparable. You’re coming back less, avoiding the in between “I hate my roots” and spending less money in the long run.

(We haven’t even discussed the increase in overhead costs to perform any service behind the chair.)

The hair industry has GROWN

So it’s up to us to educate our clients so you can grow with us. This list is what you DON’T see. Our stylists at Salon Bowie at either of our salons, are putting true love into every strand, so to achieve those beautiful inspo photos you snagged from Pinterest, this is the reality. Your hair is worth the investment ♥️
